The battle is raging, will you take my hand?
Are you afraid? ‘Cause I know I am
“What will they gain?” “What could you lose?”
“Life or Death!” The world makes us choose
“Live for your rights!” “Die for the cause!”
When we cease to be human, all hope is lost
Jesus looks us in the eyes
“Life for life, that’s why I died.”
The battle is raging, will you take my hand?
Afraid together, can He help us stand?
“Life for life!” our Savior cries
“Will you look in each other’s eyes?”
He lifts bowed heads, He lowers proud eyes
Bringing us together with a look of surprise
His life for mine, my life for you!
Both made human, two hearts made new
Facing our common enemy,
Strongholds fall before shared dignity
The battle is raging, will you take my hand?
Built together in Christ, so together we’ll stand
See Ephesians 2:13-22, 6:10-12

I was getting discouraged this week, but remembered all of you and am now at Peet’s working on future posts! Thanks for always being one of the first to encourage 😊

Thank you so much for this. I was in a rough spot and this just helped to reaffirm that Jesus takes care of us and I really need to stop worrying about things I can’t control. Thank you again.
