In the middle of wasted moments,
glistening with promise
until that empty *pop*
In the presence of uncertain ends
sticking out in all directions
and the tangled coils of even-less-certain means
Into the mess of all my playthings
— You Breathe —
And Your Breath is
Life
Order
Peace
When we breathe together
the rise and fall of my chest
no longer wearies me with its frantic pace
Together we are grace
and endurance
gentle and indomitable
The Breath the spoke the universe
Breathes into me
even in the middle of wasted moments

One of my favorites. Heartache and wonder. In the midst of whatever we’re going through, God is the very air we breathe — life itself flowing into us. One breath at a time. A deep inhalation and resultant sigh of peace.

Thank you, I really like this one too. It struck me how much I care about the outcome of a given day or season, when the real peace comes from moments lived with God (even if they don’t produce what I hoped).

Thank you for encouraging words in the midst of some upheaval. I do not do upheaval well but he does all things well if I will stop and breath in the Spirits grace of the moment.

Thank you so much for encouraging words in the midst of my small upheaval. And I turn to breath in that breathe which brings me to peace.
