I still remember the day
I first put on glasses
Everything looked so crisp and clear
But what I didn’t expect
Was the color
The way it jumped into my vision
The brightness of the clarity
I still remember the day
I first put on trust
It was like floating, burden-less
But what I didn’t expect
Was everything to look so small
Sitting there next to You
Seen from a thousand miles high
I still remember the day
Reality put on my fear
It was deep and black and choking
But what I didn’t expect
Was to find You there
To be pressed but not crushed
To find my trust still held, my vision clear

Thank you Jackie. Love this. Reminds me of Psalm 139:7-8… Beautiful.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
